Recommended for optimal heating of tropical species farms to 24-28°C. The heating pad’s temperature adds to the room temperature, so be mindful that if the room temperature rises (for example, in summer when the sun shines in), it’s advisable to lower the heating pad’s setting; if the room temperature drops, adjust it upwards slightly. It is always recommended to measure the temperature with a thermometer! If you place a test tube on it, be aware that a higher temperature will develop inside the small, enclosed air space than what is measured in the normal airspace on the heating pad. When starting up, increase the temperature gradually. After turning it on, it needs one to two hours to reach full effectiveness.
